1970 Topps Super Glossy Football Cards
1970 Topps Super Glossies were inserts in packs of second series 1970 Topps football cards. There are 33 cards in the set, with at least one player from each of the 26 NFL teams. The cards are colorful and attractive, and they are among my all-time favorites.
Though the Super Glossies are plentiful, it can be challenging to find them in high grades. Some major problems occurred in production: many of the cards are off-center or miscut, many have chips along the edges in back from cutting, and some have indentations across the front, I presume from rollers in the printing machinery. The cards' glossy finish is also easily scratched or dulled.
