Congratulations to Riley Odoms! Odoms and Steve Foley were elected to the Denver Broncos Ring of Fame this week. Odoms played tight end for the Broncos for twelve seasons, from 1972 to 1983. He was named a First-Team All-Pro in 1974 and 1975, and he was selected for the Pro Bowl four times.
Odoms was a member of the 1977 Broncos team that played the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl XII–but lost, 27-10. His best year statistically was 1978, when he caught 54 passes for 829 yards and six touchdowns.
Today’s card of the day is Odoms’s rookie card, a 1974 Topps. He also appeared on numerous other cards, which you can see in the Gallery.
