1967 Topps Football Cards
There are 132 cards in the 1967 Topps football card set: 130 AFL players and 2 checklists. It is one of the handful of major issues that does not include a rookie card of a Hall of Famer or Heisman winner. The 132 cards fit exactly twice on a 264-card sheet, so there are no short prints or double prints in the set. You can see an uncut half-sheet of 1967 Topps cards on the Gallery's 1967 Topps Virtual Uncut Sheet page.
Thirty-three cards from the 1967 Topps set--three rows from an uncut sheet--were reprinted for a 1969 Milton Bradley board game called Win A Card. You can see them on the Gallery's 1967 Milton Bradley Football Cards page.
The 1967 Topps set was the last to include only AFL players. For an overview of Topps football cards of the late 1960s, see my blog article, T is for Topps, Part 3: 1964-1969.
