1973 Colorado State Football Cards
There are eight cards in the 1973 Colorado State University football card set. They were distributed by the Poudre Valley Creamery of Fort Collins, Colorado. The back of each card contains a 1973 CSU schedule. (The team finished 5-6.) Three of the players in the set--Jimmie Kennedy, Willie Miller, and Al Simpson--went on to play in the NFL. Miller also appeared on a few cards with the Los Angeles Rams.
Suiza Foods purchased the Poudre Valley Creamery business in 2000. The City of Fort Collins deconstructed the creamery building in 2011.
